Dr. Nassi grew up in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Nassi received his Bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University, graduating with top honors. For dental school, Dr. Nassi went back to Toronto where he attended the highly acclaimed University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, one of the top ranked dental schools in North America. Immediately after graduating from dental school, Dr. Nassi went back to New York in order to further his education. Dr. Nassi did two years of training in hospital based General Practice Residency programs, one at Kings County Hospital Center and the other one as a Chief Resident at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center where he got lots of exposure to all aspects of dentistry including pediatric, adult and emergency dentistry. After completing his General Practice Residencies, Dr. Nassi decided to further his passion for treating children by doing a two year specialty training program at Maimonides Medical Center’s highly competitive Pediatric Dental Residency program, in Brooklyn, in which Dr. Nassi got extensive clinical training in treating the oral health care needs of children.
Dr. Nassi is committed to providing the best possible care to children. For this reason, Dr. Nassi regularly attends Continuing Education courses in order to stay current on the latest science and techniques in the field of Pediatric Dentistry, and to ensure that his patients receive the best dental care possible.
Dr. Nassi is renowned for his gentle and easy-going manner with children of all ages. His warm, friendly manner puts even the most anxious child at ease. By combining a fun environment for your child, the best techniques and materials that modern dentistry has to offer, and a personalized approach (with an emphasis on prevention), Dr. Nassi hopes to make every dental visit an enjoyable experience for your child.
Dr. Nassi is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a title that is given only to those pediatric dentists who have successfully passed a rigorous testing process. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and an active member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr. Nassi resides in Brooklyn with his wife and their four children. When he is not at work, Dr. Nassi enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Nassi is also musical and enjoys singing and playing the guitar
